COACH

Jessica Gibeau

Jessica had the love of dance instilled in her since before she could walk. She watched her older brother being taught by her mother, Teresa Gibeau, who began Dance Unlimited. When it was finally Jess’s turn to dance, she stole the stage with her personality. In her early years, Jessica won many special awards and scholarships including Triple Threat Dance Convention’s Rising Star a few years running. She also had the opportunity to perform in The Alberta Ballet’s annual Nutcracker production for two years. After her initial training in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre and Ukrainian, she was eight when she moved to Shelley’s Dance Company, also while continuing doing several dance camps at Amanda’s Academy of Dance. Jessica added lyrical and contemporary and remained with her friends dancing competitively at Shelley's until she graduated high school.

Jessica taught the preschool program at Dance Unlimited during the 2013/2014 season. In 2015/2016 Jessica co-taught tap with her mom at Riverbend Dance Academy to ages 9 through 16. This season, while Jessica attends University, she is very excited for the opportunity to fill in for Amanda and her staff when required, and join the adult tap class for some fun!
