Recreational Program
This program is designed for dancers who want a strictly recreational class with no competitions or performances. Any dancer of any group is able to join this program. Fees for this class will consist of monthly dance fees only, no competitions, no costumes etc. will be required. Dancers who are not interested in any performance work, should enter this program.
All-Star Program
At Amanda's Academy of Dance, we believe that everyone who wishes to dance be able to do so. This 10-week program runs three times a year - Fall, Winter and Spring. It is designed for those with a disability to come learn to dance. Fees for this class will consist of the cost of the 10-week program only. No other fees are associated with this program. We also encourage those who have completed this program and would like to continue dancing more intently to contact Amanda. There is always a place for those who wish to dance.
Future Diva Program
This program is designed for dancers aged 4-5 years who wish to participate in competitive programming. Dancers in this program will participate in two festival “stars of tomorrow” competitions where all dancers receive the same medals and positive feedback. Fees for this class will consist of monthly dance fees, 2 sets of competition fees and 1 costume and any other costs associated with competitions. Dancers who are interested in performing and starting competitive work, and are 5 years and under should enter this program.
Competitive Program
This program is designed for the dancers 6 - adult who wish to participate in competitive programming. Dancers in this program will participate in 3 festival/competitions. Fees for this class will consist of monthly dance fees, 3 sets of competition fees and costumes for the amount of classes they are in and any other costs associated with competitions. Dancers who are interested in performing and competitive work and are 6 years and older should enter this program.
Competitive Elite Program
This program is designed for dancers 6 -18 years who wish to participate in high competitive programming. Dancers in this program will participate in 3 festival/competitions AND 3 Edmonton performances. Members of the Elite Team will also have the option to travel out of Edmonton for dance. Fees for this class will consist of monthly dance fees, 3 competition fees and costumes for all groups and any other costs associate with competition. The studio will have a meeting in September to discuss options for the dancers interested in Elite Programming.
Graduated Dance Program
This program is designed for dancers 17+ years who have graduated from the Competitive/Competitive Elite Program. Dancers in this program can take as much or as little dance as they like, and can compete with both the Competitive and Competitive Elite Programs. Dancers in this program do not have to participate in extra performances or have to follow minimum requirements for Jazz, Lyrical and Modern Classes. This program is designed for dancers who have graduated but still want to dance on a smaller scale with less commitment.
