Our family has been a part of Amanda’s Academy of dance for 10 years. My daughter and son both love going to their classes every week. The studio truly is their second home. AAOD is a positive, welcoming space with a strong sense of teamwork. My kids have made so many wonderful friends there. Dance friends are the best friends! The faculty at AAOD is dedicated, experienced, and cares so much for the well-being of all their students. Because it’s a smaller studio the teachers are able to build strong connections with the dancers. The teachers at AAOD have pushed my kids to grow, learn new skills and be the best they can be.

This is our family's 3rd studio in 12 years, and our 5th year at Amanda’s, and we can't imagine ever switching studios again. What AAOD offers is far more than dance lessons... it's positive body image, inclusion, and a sense of being part of a family that looks out for each other. Dancers build strong self worth at AAOD by being held to reasonable standards, and being recognized for their accomplishments. They build self esteem by being able to (and encouraged to) explore diverse opportunities (workshops, travel opportunities). Every dancer gets moments to shine, and it sure helps make AAOD a fun place to be!

We switched to the studio a few years ago and it had been amazing. The teachers truly care about the dancers, and my daughter has been challenged and has improved each year. The studio is not too large, but is still competitive at competitions, and it feels like family. Everything is very well organized with lots of notice about competition fees. We love being part of the AAOD family.

My daughters have been dancing at Amanda’s Academy of Dance for the past 7 years and they absolutely love it. We had previously tried other studio’s in the area but are very fortunate to have found AAOD. The atmosphere is very supportive and inclusive. The younger dancers are inspired by the older dancers and the older dancers are so kind and welcoming to the younger dancers. Amanda’s Academy of Dance is one of a kind. The owner & instructors truly care about every student that walks through their doors. With smaller class sizes, there is a strong bond between the teacher and students. The teachers are passionate, encouraging and really stress the importance of teamwork, pride and strong work ethic while having fun in class. The technical training has been beyond excellent and my 2 daughters have really excelled and strengthened their technique in all genres.
Amanda, the owner, is extremely organized, excels at communication, is energetic and very dedicated to her studio, staff and students.
