I began my dance journey 15 years ago and have stuck with it ever since. I have studied everything from hip-hop to pointe over the years and moved towards a teacher standpoint at fourteen when I began student teaching. After starting to see my impact on the students I quickly decided that helping young dancers discover the same passion I did was something I wanted to pursue.
I started teaching my own classes after a few years of volunteering and It has brought me so much joy to teach over the years. I have taught a wide range of students as I love substituting when a teacher isn’t able to attend. My classes have been from ages 3-7 years old so far.
Outside of the studio, I am a student at Macewan University and work in the restaurant industry. Dance is a way I am able to ground myself in living a busy student life. Getting to see my students smile every week always gives me a light to look towards. I have been so glad to have transitioned from dancer to teacher. I have truly found a lifelong passion in my students!
