Hannah Klose began dancing at the age of 4 and has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, and modern. She has been teaching at several studios in the greater Edmonton area for the past 6 years. In university she began performing with Orchesis, a program designed to give all adults, from beginner to professional, an opportunity to dance. She has held a seat on their Board of Directors for the past 2 years. This year Hannah graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology and with a focus on dance-related research; she also studied Anne Green Gilbert’s innovative Brain-Compatible dance education program. Hannah is a certified Burlesque BOOM instructor, and also teaches dance fitness classes for women with the goal of encouraging healthy living and body positivity.
Hannah has competed and attended workshops across Alberta. She still takes regular classes herself, and spent a summer training in Toronto in 2016. This summer she will be training in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with an invitation from TOKYO the Academy. Hannah is certified in the Edmonton School of Ballet Junior Grades, and is working on her certification for Foundation Grades.
Hannah is also heavily involved in the theatre and visual art communities in her free time, and throughout her dance career has received several awards for her contributions to the arts.
